Wow!

It’s been a while since I’ve sent out a newsletter! My trip overseas to Norway, Germany, Spitzbergen and Ukraine were absolutely amazing but it took me a while to recover! Let me just say that my band: Erik Boyd (bass) and Matt Arbeiter (drums) were fantastic and I got to see so many of my friends overseas and met so many new ones. I’m excited to be back and over the next few weeks I will be sharing some of those new friends at my shows including Thursday Dec 21st at CLUB BONAFIDE where I will be doing a double bill with the amazing Deanna Bogart!

This week I will be a special guest with Rich Borge and JB Lessen at Hilltop Tavern 50 Essex St Lodi NJ on Monday November 27th which is also Jimi Hendrix’s birthday!

Friday Dec 1st I return to Philadelphia’s best blues music venue The Twisted Tail 509 S 2nd St Philadelphia PA. With me will be the amazing Buddy Allen on bass and Lee Jeffryes on drums, I can’t wait!

This week is filled with Dave Fields fun as I travel to the Midwest! I’m driving to Nashville to pick up Steve DePra (bass) and Lee Venters (drums) and the adventure begins!

Friday Oct 6th I will be doing two Blues In The Schools presentations in the Rockford IL public school system. Then that evening at 7pm I return to THE LYRAN SOCIETY 1115 4th Ave Rockford IL 7pm for a show sponsored by Crossroad Blues Society.

The next day Saturday Oct 7th we wake up drive 2 and ½ hours west FLATTED FIFTH at POTTER MILL 300 Potter Drive Bellevue IA 8pm my favorite BBQ blues joint west of the Mississippi.

Oct 8th we drive back to Nashville for my first ever show at PAPA TURNEYS BBQ 3979 Bell Rd Nashville TN 4-7pm.

I’m going to be wiped out when I return home on Monday! LOL!

This is a Big Week!
First of all Happy New Year, L Shanah Tovah, to all my Jewish friends. Wednesday is Rosh Hashanah. Even though I am playing Thursday, which is the second day of Rosh Hashanah I’m planning on making it an even grander New Years with the show.

Thursday Sept 21st I am playing my first show at Debonair Music Hall (Formerly Mexicali Live) 1409 Queen Anne Rd Teaneck NJ doors open at 6pm with Rosey G and Friends as the opening act. Saturday Sept 23rd I return to Daddy Jack’s 181 Bank St New London CT 8:30pm. Daddy Jack’s is New London’s premier blues music eatery. Chef Jack Chaplin will wow you with his cooking!

W O W!!!! It’s been a CRAZY few weeks but I’m not complaining! I haven’t even had time to write my newsletter!

I’m finally back home after being on the road in Ukraine, Poland, Norway, Portland Oregon and Montana. It’s been a whirlwind but an amazing whirlwind! I have to thank all the musicians who played with me, they put up with me and they tore it up! The promoters were sensational. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to play for so many amazing people…

Tonight July 12th I will be at American Trash 1471 1st Ave NY NY between 76th and 7th Streets at 8pm with Ross Daisomont and Chris Markwood. I’m sad to say that this will be Chris Markwood’s last show with us, he’s moving back to LA. We are losing a good one but LA is getting back a great one!
