This Saturday, June 19th TUSNAD GASTRO FESTIVAL Tusnad Romania my pal and amazing Romanian-US drummer Liviu Pop put this together for me. Bassist Tony Tino and I are going to fly to Bucharest this Thursday and then drive to Tusnad for my first ever show in Romania. It’s not just a blues festival, it’s also a food festival so I’m going to have twice as much fun sampling the local culinary delights. If I see Count Dracula I will play some BB King licks at him REALLY LOUD to scare him away LOL!

Hi everyone!

I have lots of news! First of all, I got my shot this past week. The coop building I live in offered the Johnson and Johnson shot so when the opportunity arose to get it, I GOT IT! One observation though, being that I had COVID, I had a bad reaction, which I expected. It’s nice though to be “one shot” and done. Hopefully it will protect me and other from getting this horrible virus again.

Secondly, I am in the midst of talking to a bunch of venues about live shows so hopefully I will be adding to the list of shows below!

Third… well….! For everyone who saw the live stream from Stanhope house last week, I sincerely apologize, we had a series of technical problems which are now resolved. I plan to do another live stream show with my Stanhope All Star pals soon. I will let you know when that will happen! Despite the problems we had, it was a fun show. I’m disappointed it didn’t get out to everyone…

The Aries birthday YouTube live stream will be Friday April 9th at 8pm featuring my band FEROCIOUS: Buddy Allen on bass and Lee Jeffryes on drums streamed live from Al Weber’s Lumberyard studio in Nutley NJ.

It’s looking like things are starting to open up here in the NY area. I hope it’s not too soon but in any event, I will be, as well as my fellow musicians, very excited to be performing again. I’m in the midst of putting together some shows for the future. The end is in sight. Let’s hope the pandemic ends sooner rather than later.

The first ever live stream show at Stanhope House will be Thursday March 27th at 7pm streamed live on The Stanhope House FaceBook page. The show will be hosted by legendary blues DJ Pete Hoff and will feature The Stanhope House All Stars: Jon and Matt Klein, Buddy Allen/bass, Jay Dittamo/drums and of course, me!
