Big shows next week!

Hi everyone!

I have lots of news! First of all, I got my shot this past week. The coop building I live in offered the Johnson and Johnson shot so when the opportunity arose to get it, I GOT IT! One observation though, being that I had COVID, I had a bad reaction, which I expected. It’s nice though to be “one shot” and done. Hopefully it will protect me and other from getting this horrible virus again.

Secondly, I am in the midst of talking to a bunch of venues about live shows so hopefully I will be adding to the list of shows below!

Third… well….! For everyone who saw the live stream from Stanhope house last week, I sincerely apologize, we had a series of technical problems which are now resolved. I plan to do another live stream show with my Stanhope All Star pals soon. I will let you know when that will happen! Despite the problems we had, it was a fun show. I’m disappointed it didn’t get out to everyone…

This Week!

It’s looking like things are starting to open up here in the NY area. I hope it’s not too soon but in any event, I will be, as well as my fellow musicians, very excited to be performing again. I’m in the midst of putting together some shows for the future. The end is in sight. Let’s hope the pandemic ends sooner rather than later.

Hi everyone!

I took a break from sending my newsletter last week to focus on being with Judy and Jasper, they had the week off. Musicians however rarely get a week off LOL!

SUBJECT TO CHANGE: my next show will be Thursday March 4th 7pm Stanhope House live stream on FaceBook hosted by blues radio legend Pete Hoff. Featuring: Jon & Matt Klein and myself plus special guests. The proceeds will go to the Stanhope House.

I really believe that the artists and the venues have to work together, especially in these crazy times. The Stanhope House is a legendary music venue. Its foundation was originally laid around 1790. Given that, its arguably one of the oldest music venues in NJ if not the US. It would be tragic to see it close its doors. Owners Matt and Jon Klein have been so supportive to not only me but many blues artists from the NY/NJ area and beyond. I hope you get to check out this special show and if you can, please donate to help The Stanhope house keep its doors open. I will send a link to the event in my upcoming newsletters.

Wow! I have no idea what to write about in my weekly newsletter LOL! There’s a lot going on but with the COVID pandemic, all the snow that we have gotten in NYC and the fact that I’ve been very busy producing people, I haven’t been focused on Dave Fields things! Other than that, I’ve HAVE been crazy busy working on my upcoming CD’s. It looks like have enough material for three CD’s. Now I have to pick which songs will go on the next one!
