To all my readers and fans,
I must confess, I’ve been sort of s state of shock during the past weeks. Not just because all the shows have been curtailed or because not just the music business but the whole world has come to a halt, but because we are all facing as a human race what can be called a modern “911” health crisis. With the exception of the Spanish flu, we haven’t been in this situation in modern times.
I’ve been focusing on my family, glued to the TV and not focusing on music. Being that my family and I live in lower Manhattan, we are arguably in the center of the hot zone. I will say that I am not scared or worried about staying in NYC. Even though I have seen many of my fellow New Yorkers not observe social distancing like they should. New Yorkers are resilient and being that I was born and raised here (also in NJ!) I will not be scared away.
I WILL BE SENDING OUT AN ANNOUNCEMENT SOON ABOUT DAVE FIELDS FACEBOOK LIVE OR OTHERWISE SHOWS
Also, I will be making an announcement HOPEFULLY soon about the CD release date for my upcoming CD FORCE OF WILL.
THE FOLLOWING SHOWS HAVE BEEN CANCELED:
Apr 3rd Lyran, Rockford IL
Apr 4th Knuckledown Saloon, Madison WI
Apr 5th Viking Club Moline IL
Apr 9th Victors, 500 Commerce St Hawthorne NY
Apr 11th The Soundbank, Pheonixville PA
Apr 16th Stanhope House
Apr 23rd Debonair Music Hall, Teaneck NJ
Apr 24th Daddy Jacks
Apr 25th Nelson’s Candies, Wilton NH
I will stay in touch, thanks for reading this. I know that WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS.
Please, please, stay safe during these most challenging times. I am sending my prayers to each and every one of you.
Huge hugs (from six feet!)

YouTube Live shows
/0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by davefieldsHi Everyone!
I want to thank those of you who checked out my Aries Birthday YouTube live show! There was an issue with the link when the show started. I know that many of you could not watch the show. In case you missed it here is the link:
https://youtu.be/HSselmzpRa0?t=741
On a personal note, not that my newsletters are not personal! My family: Judy, my son Jasper and I have been riding it out here in the center of the Coronavirus storm on the lower east side. Being a native New Yorker, there are many things that annoy me and thrill me about this amazing city that we live in. Most recently it’s nice to see how people have been taking social distancing and wearing masks to heart. We are truly a team as a nation now working together to get past this pandemic. I’m wishing every one of you readers that you stay safe and healthy through this tragic era in our history.
Also, I will be announcing a special YouTube live “From NYC” afternoon show that will be geared for my European fans. Stay tuned for info on that!
Again, stay safe. I plan to see you all when this virus passes.
Huge hugs from six feet away.

Aries Birthday Show April 11th
/0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by davefieldsIt’s been another tough week here throughout the world. Especially here in NYC… Life goes on and we will triumph over this virus.
I was supposed to be having my big Aries birthday bash this Saturday in Phoenixville PA but obviously things in the world have changed. But that’s ok, there ain’t nothing like an Aries birthday party LOL!!!! The show must go on!
This Saturday April 11th, 8pm EST (GMT-4) (NY time), please join me as well as my fellow Aries to celebrate my birthday (and Robin Bacote’s) for a YouTube live show direct from my lower east side NYC recording studio. Hey, we could all use a little fun during these times huh? Let’s put our cares behind us Saturday and pour a drink in front of your computer, TV, iPad or whatever you use to go online. Hey, it’s not like you’re going to be driving anywhere?! Special guest TBA!
Thank you all your viewers who were part of the show last week!!!
Click this link at 8pm this Saturday to be part of it:

This show is solemnly dedicated to my dear friend Simon Haddad who recently passed away. Whatever I play Saturday will be a celebration of his life as well.

YouTube live from NYC Fri April 3rd
/0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by davefieldsIt’s another week here sequestered in the lower east but for most of us throughout the world, we are all going to be confined to our homes for a little while. But that doesn’t mean that we can’t still have a Dave Fields show LOL!
This Friday April 3rd, 8pm EST (GMT-4) (NY time), I will be doing my first ever YouTube live show direct from my living room on the lower east side! I will be SOLO. However, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. I must confess I’m a little nervous! I hope I get the lighting and sound right. It’s just ME no sound man, no lighting person, JUST ME! Whatever happens, it’s going to be fun and in these trying times we could all use a little fun.
Click this link at 8pm this Friday to join the fun:

BTW, I was supposed to be in Rockford IL Friday and then Madison WI and then ending in Moline IL so hopefully this will make up for it!
Please come and be part of the fun. I’m excited to entertain you via YouTube. Hey, what else am I going to do???!

Dave’s new Fodera WHITE LIGHT guitar!
/0 Comments/in Uncategorized /by davefields(Dave Fields with his new Fodera WHITE LIGHT)
I’m so proud and excited to introduce to you my new Fodera guitar. I’m calling it WHITE LIGHT and if you play it, you’ll know why! I have never played a guitar more responsive or easier to play. Vinny Fodera, Joey Lauricella and the team at Fodera have out down themselves. Its, beautiful and just exquisite. I can’t wait to play to pay it for you! I can play things on this guitar that I’ve always dreamt about playing!
Ok!!!!!! Enough about the guitar LOL!
