Last Week Shows Headlining The Cape Fear Blues Festival at The Rusty Nail!
Being the headlining act last week at The Cape Fear Blues Festival at Wilmington North Carolina’s premier music venue THE RUSTY NAIL was an honor and TOO much fun! I’m excited to announce that I will be at RUSTY NAIL back October 2nd

I’m currently on vacation with my family, Judy and Jasper in Wildwood NJ and then Cape Cod. When I return I will be eagerly working on my next CD tentatively entitled “LIVE”.

My next show will be as special guest with THE BLUZ HOUSE ROCKERS Wednesday August 12th 6:00-8:00 pm GREEN ISLAND CONCERTS Gazebo at River Park, Hudson Avenue, Green Island, New York courtesy of their manager Jim Anderson and promoter Barry Brown of NJ Star Productions.

August 14th I will be back in Philadelphia at The Twisted Tail and on August 29th I will be opening for The Primadonna Reeds CD release party at NYC’s newest music club Spin 48 East 23rd St NY NY. I can’t wait!

The new issue of Big City Blues Magazine will be out soon where you can read my article about “Jammers” from NYC and beyond!

Headlining The Cape Fear Blues Festival at The Rusty Nail!

I’m headlining at The Cape Fear Blues Festival this Saturday July 25th at Wilmington North Carolina’s premier music venue THE RUSTY NAIL. Accompanying me will be two of Wilmington’s amazing musicians: Richard “Ray” Kern and drumming sensation and my pal from Berklee College of Music Lee Venters. I’ve been so much looking forward to this show and it signals the close of my festival performances for the summer. I will be spending the next few weeks with Judy and Jasper on a much anticipated family vacation. Don’t worry though, I will be hard at work on my new CD of which I intend to release in January!

Last Weeks Shows in Norway & Asbury Park
Its been an amazing whirlwind the past few weeks BUT its been so much fun! Last weeks shows at Fan It Blues Festival in Molde Norway were over the top and then to come right back and play Asbury Park Blues & Brews Festival was too much fun. I was so excited there was no way I could be jet lagged!

Asbury Park Blues and Brews Festival & More!

Wow, what an amazing few weeks it’s been! I’m writing this from the airport in Molde Norway overlooking the amazing mountains glimmering in the distance. I had an awesome show last night at “The Fan It Blues Festival” with my two Norwegian brothers Kåre Amundsen and Bjørn Ove Hagset. Now I’m ready for The Asbury Park Blues and Brews Festival TOMORROW! LOL! Hey, I’m “ALL IN “ baby!

I’M SO EXCITED! I will be the ”heater” act at The Asbury Park Blues & Brews Festival tomorrow 5pm Saturday July 18th!!!! With me will be Kenny Soule on drums and legendary NJ bassist Buddy Allen. I’ve been working on some cool new stuff on my guitar and I’m excited to share it with my NJ audience. Its gonna be FUN!!!! (Don’t worry, I’m going to be pumped up for the show!)

Next Week!
I’m the headliner at The Cape Fear Blues Festival July 25th. The show will be at Wilmington NC premier music venue THE RUSTY NAIL.

Norway Bound Yet Again!

Norway Bound Yet Again!
I gotta pinch myself, at the time of writing this I’m sitting in Arlanda Airport In Stockholm waiting for my flight to Norway where I will be performing in Mosjeøn Norway at Gilles Café for The Garden Festival (English translation) July 3rd and 4th to celebrate Independence Day with my Norwegian friends! Joining me will be Norwegians Kåre Amundsen on drums and Jon Børge Høybakk on bass. I can hardly contain my excitement! I will be sure to post pictures on my FaceBook pages so stay tuned!

Coming Up for Dave Fields
Next week I will return back to the US on July 10th to play a special show for members of Montammy Country Club and then a show July 11th with Sari Schorr at Deepwells 10th Annual Summer Concert in Saint James NY. Then I leave July 12th to head back to Molde Norway to play at The Fan It Blues Festival July 15th & 16th. Its gonna be fun!

Friday June 26th I will return to Hat City Kitchen 459 Valley St Orange NJ for 8pm and 9:10pm shows featuring Erik Boyd on bass and Lee Jeffryes on drums. I will be recording the show for my upcoming “Live” CD so come and be part of the party!

Last Friday’s show at The Somers Point NJ Summer Concert Series was amazing. I was so proud to be able to share the stage with Dave Fields NY All Star blues diva’s Sari Schorr & Nikki Armstrong and Andy Huenerberg (bass) & Dave Moore (drums). Equally as cool was the show I did with Dave Moore and John Meola for The Kraft Beer Festival in downtown Somerville NJ last Sunday.

Let me say that my shows at ROCK ON THE DOCK festival Vestnes Norway were absolutely over the top! My Norwegian brothers in arms Kåre Amundson on drums and Bjørn Hågset were spectcular and the crowd went wild. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to play with those guys and perform for the Norwegians as much as I do. I will be back in few weeks to play in Møsjern Norway for the GARDEN FESTIVAL at Gilles July 3-4th.

Last Weekend’s NE Tour & Memphis
Let me start out by saying being at The Blues Music Awards in Memphis was amazing! I got to hang out with so many people: Robert Jr and Sugar from Big City Blues Magazine, JT Lauritsen, Scrap Iron, Bobby Rush, David Z, Dave Keyes, Sari Schorr, Bill Wax, Sonny Rock…. I could keep going!

My New England tour, which included NC drumming sensation Lee Venters (formerly of The Aquarium Rescue Unit) and John Meola on bass, was OVER THE TOP! Jack Chaplin at DADDY JACK’S in New London spoiled us with his amazing culinary skills! I can’t wait to see how Don Odells legend was video show came out! Lastly, Paul Benjamin and his Maine crew were the most fun to play for at TIME OUT PUB in Rockland Maine!

Saturday May 16th Ranchero Cantina Benefit
I will be performing this Saturday afternoon May 16th from 2pm-5:15 with my band and The Ranchero All Stars for a benefit for fellow musician Doug Pintka at Ranchero Cantina 214 Kinderkamack Rd Emerson NJ. Accompanying me will be John Meola and Dave Moore. $20.00 donation is suggested.
